FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Short, clear answers about fees, how we work, company formation and document flow.

We have gathered the questions new clients ask most in the first call. If you cannot find yours, write to us and we will reply within the same business day.

Working with us

How is the monthly accounting fee set?
Entity type, monthly invoice and document count, headcount and e-document usage set the fee. We never go below the professional chamber’s minimum fee schedule. After an initial meeting we send the scope of service and our proposal in writing; any work outside that scope is agreed in advance.
What should I look for when choosing an accountant in Ankara?
The key criteria are a licensed advisor registered with the professional chamber, a written agreement setting out the scope of service, and a clearly named person responsible for your file. Tracking filing dates in advance and getting same-day answers also make a real difference day to day. Our office is in Kültür, Çankaya, a short walk from Kızılay.
How should I send my documents?
e-Invoice and e-Archive documents reach us through the system. For paper documents, a photo via WhatsApp or email is enough. We can also set up a shared folder if you prefer.
Do I need to visit the office?
No. We can run everything by phone, video call and email; that is how we work with clients outside Ankara. You are still very welcome at our office in Kültür, Çankaya.
When will I know how much tax I owe?
Before every filing period we send you the amounts due with an explanation, so you can plan your cash without a last-minute rush.
Do you provide services in English?
Yes. We provide reporting and communication in English for companies with foreign shareholders and foreign entrepreneurs setting up in Türkiye.

Formation & getting started

Which documents do I need to get started?
A tax certificate, signature circular, trade registry gazette for companies, recent tax returns and e-document user details are usually enough. We list anything missing together in the first meeting and follow up the setup steps on your behalf. You can start with us in any month of the year.
How long does company formation take?
With complete documents, a sole trader is usually ready in a few business days and limited or joint-stock companies in about a week.
Should I register as a sole trader or a limited company?
Expected profit, number of partners, liability preference and client expectations decide. In the consultation we compare the approximate tax burden of both options using your own numbers.
Do you serve companies outside Ankara?
Yes. Since documents and e-documents flow digitally, we can work online with businesses anywhere in Türkiye. We also plan any steps that require wet signatures, such as formation, together.
Do you provide accounting for motorcycle couriers?
Yes. For couriers working with delivery platforms we handle sole-trader registration, invoicing, VAT and income tax returns and Bağ-Kur contributions. See our Courier Accounting page for details.

Tax, payroll & e-documents

Do I have to switch to e-Invoice?
The requirement depends on criteria such as gross sales, sector and online sales, and thresholds are updated periodically. We check every client’s status each year and manage the switch when needed.
What do I need to do when I hire staff?
As a rule, the hiring notification must be filed before the employee starts. Just tell us the start date a few days in advance; we handle the social security notification, incentive check and payroll.
I received a letter from the tax office. What should I do?
Forward the letter or e-Notification to us immediately and do not miss the deadline. We prepare the requested documents or explanation together and join you in talks with the tax office if needed.
Which costs can I deduct as expenses?
Costs that are business-related, incurred to earn income and supported by a proper document are deductible. Some items such as passenger cars have legal limits; we discuss questionable items with you before recording them.
I sell on marketplaces. What should I watch out for?
Every sale needs an invoice, commission and shipping invoices must be matched with payout statements, and tax withheld by the marketplace must be offset in your returns. We do these reconciliations every month.
